No. Tacos are $1.60 each.
They're wonderful fresh fruits and vegetables a lot of things that I'm used to eating that normal supermarkets don't carry thanks so much reminds me of home
Great selection of meats and vegetables. All the Hispanic ingredients you need to make the favorite dishes
I really don't shop here, I just go for one thing, and that's the ice drinks but I love it
Tortillera La Mexicana is the place to go if you are in a real real hurry, but you still want a very hot meal. You are surrounded by the main stays and giant food chains when you decide to enter. There, in the shadow of the golden arches, is a thriving Latino buffet. I love the golden arches, yet you can not get a muto portion of rice, beans, and steak from any chain for, $6.00. The portion would easily satisfy you and your honey. Lets mention the meat department and the concentrated grocery aisles that, through i am sure much trial and error, have figured how to minister to their neighborhood. It has become a mainstay for me. It was a good 2 oclock lunch. I will now set down to what is left over for my 7 oclock dinner. A Latino buffet on mills avenue? God bless America.
Good Food! very authentic place! great servers
Genuinely sad. We have gone here several times before and it was a touch slow but always worth the wait. This time the food was bland and whatever new cheese they tried to use inside and on top of everything was just mush. The margaritas were basically just mix over very little ice. And the staff didn't care, barely checked on us and I do know a little Spanish so I also know when the drunk guy working there is talking about me. So yeah, will never go here again.
Extremely authentic latin food (restaurant & bar) side and store is next door/authentic small shop-great selection of groceries including butcher shop in the back and serves hot foods (small selection/early in day) and big selection of various latin breads, cakes and pastries! Highly recommend visiting by both spots. Forewarn English speakers are minimal but for the restaurant the menu is in both languages AMD the waitress understands enough English to serve you. The shop on my visit did have two ladies whom spoke enough English to ring me up.
The tostadas are so good!
Good authentic Mexican food. The breaded steak torta with fries is a good deal. This is a great hole in the wall that you should give a try.
The food was good, but we ordered online and they didn't have our order when we got there. The waitress wasn't particularly helpful in correcting this error and didn't offer us anything while we waited. My mom's friend beefsteak was delicious to me, but she felt it was overcooked. My flautas were tasty but they piled the salad on top of it in the to go container and so they were soggy by the time I got home and could eat them. This place is probably better when you eat in, but I doubt we'll get takeout from them again.
Bad thing they don't take EBT. and there are alot of people that have that and they can't use it. Thats why i only buy tortillas there.
We got off the trolley to eat at this cute Cuban restaurant. Great sandwich and iced coffee. What a nice respite for a couple of weary old trolley riders. Worth the stop!
Great community store. Its a slow process checking out
The food is good, and more authentic then most. I will be back. This is a bit of a hole in the wall, don't go if you worried about appearances.
Could find some good mexican groceries. There were fresh cacti. I found delicious choco flan. Next door there is a mexican restaurant. Tamales have a lot of meat or chicken in there and they are moisty. They could improve by bringing more products to their shelves.
Love the fresh made corn tortillas and fresh cheese. Good variety of meat to grill.
Great service and good authentic Mexican food
The salsa tasted like sugar food was bad no napkins food on the floor slow serviceNot worth my time walked across the street to taco bell.. No vale la pena, muy studio el lugar!!
Best authentic tacos in the Orlando area and a lot of them are $1.60!
Best mexican food ever
This place is pretty authentic. We come here often and are hooked on the tacos and guacamole. I happen to love the super thick chips and nice hot green salsa too. Just be warned, if ordering to pick up they often don't get your order from the ladies at the store half of the resteraunt.
Good selection of food and very gracious..
Try the Horchata and other Agua Frescas!Wonderful produce, tender meats cut to order.
I love finding things that i can't get anywhere else here
Pesimo costumer service
THIS PLACE IS LIFE!!! I get the chicken nachos but modified. Instead of a bed of chips at the bottom I get a bed of rice and then get the chips on the side. When u get home u have no soggy chips and the rice adds a sense of authenticity to it. It comes with crumbled cheese, melted cheese, chicken, beans, sour scream, lettuce, and pico de Gallo, however I get monies the vegetables. It is sooooo good and the chips are so authentic! The staff is authentically Mexican to the point where when I called them to compliment them on their food she couldn’t understand me, hehe. If you only speak English like I do you can request for them to get someone who speaks English to take your order or just try the best u can with the language barrier. Either way you will leave happy and be full and satisfied! I love this place so much! Such an undiscovered little gem right here in Sanford! Wish I could give 6 stars!
Excellent customer service. The crusine was different than what I'm accustom to. I enjoyed my meal. Julie was an awesome waitress and took good care of me and my daughter. Margaritas were buy one get one free. My type of place.
Good food but got limes with no juice and salsa verde that was all heat but no flavor. There's definitely room for improvement.
Great customer service. Clean, always fresh produce. Also have magnificent cold fruit drinks. Fair prices to top it off.
From the moment you walk in, you're disappointed. The food is low quality, the establishment itself smells like a dirty bathroom, and the bathrooms are even worse; they look like they never clean the restaurant, I did more cleaning my visit than they have in a while.
I found this place by accident. Lovely authentic Mexican place with a full bar. I had their lunch buffet with 2 kinds meat to build tacos, sweet plantains, rice and beans, a chicken/ veg soup, veggies and a cold bar taco fixings and fruit . Also a Mexican market next door. I'll be back!
No frills spot with good food
Is sad that they are not selling food yet.
They have a little of everything. If you haven't been to a Mexican grocery store you will probably be overwhelmed and amazed. I was delighted at the flan price and amount but slightly disappointed in the quality. And they didn't have Mexican ice cream or a fresh fruit bar, this was my major disappointment.
Great service delicious food.
Good food
This is our favorite Mexican hole in the wall restaurant, the food is great and the price is very reasonable. I like that they have the grocery store next door so I can grab the meat for tacos al pastor and fajitas.
The portion size is huge, don't expect to eat everything on the plate. The food is authentic and the servers are attentive even when its pretty busy....
I was born and raised in Arizona and living in Central Florida I am constantly looking for authentic food like back home. You can order tamales by the dozen here and pick them up the following day. The tamales are pretty good. I have sat in and ate at this restaurant and the food was ok. Everything lacked seasoning. I will be returning to pre-order more tamales and may return to try something else. Every place deserves a second chance.
Delicious food, great service.
Place smells awful and looks very dirty. They looked like they didn’t want to serve us. Food is delicious. Service and location not so much.
Sometimes they have items, sometimes out. Never know what to expect. Better to call first.
Delicious authentic Mexican food ❤❤
Walked-in and the place smells God awful. Real turn off. Heard wonderful reviews but I just didn’t have that experience. The chips are like, double fried, some not so it’s almost like they took old stale chips and re-fried them; very oily.
The service was good and the staff was nice. The food was ok a little light on flavor. I had steak tacos and they had almost no flavor at all. But overall ok.
Excellent service! Fresh and authentic Mexican food!
Love coming here great food and great Mexican products .
Never knew this place was a store with fruits, veggies, meats and even bakery goods! They even have ice cream and juices the horchata with cinnamon is absolutely delicious and refreshing and the coconut one! It is always busy and we like to come here for a variety of things. Nothing is too expensive and great quality food and we keep coming back! You can even get home made tortillas here which I seen recently as people were buying them freshly cooked by the dozens.
Terrible service, food was decent, not sure that I would return here, we were never checked on, and i had to go ask for a box and the bill.
Nice people good quality meet they have good Mexican products.
